Who We Are

A community shaped by Scripture

Norwich Baptist Church is a fellowship of believers in Norwich, Ontario, drawn together from different backgrounds and walks of life. What unites us is a shared trust in Jesus Christ and a desire to know Him more deeply through His Word.

We gather each week to worship, to pray, to study the Bible together, and to encourage one another. We are far from perfect — but we serve a faithful Saviour, and our doors are open to anyone who would join us.

Whether you’re exploring the Christian faith for the first time or looking for a church to call home, we’d be glad to meet you.

What We Believe

Our Statement of Faith

The convictions that shape our worship, teaching, and life together.

The Scriptures

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God — our final rule for faith and practice.

The Triune God

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ

We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, substitutionary death, bodily resurrection, and return.

Salvation by Grace

We believe salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone — not by works, but as the gift of God.

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer, empowering them to live a life of obedience, growth, and witness.

We believe the Church is the body of Christ, called to worship God, build up believers, and proclaim the gospel to the world.
